Supporting the community can be challenging, and we would always want to do more, but sometimes resources do not always allow us to.
With the Covid-19 pandemic majorly impacting all of our lives in different ways, it has had a huge effect throughout all Communities and how we try and support them.
The continued uncertainty, not knowing when we may be able to eradicate the effects of Covid-19, and get back to some sort of normality, has brought with it further obstacles for MPCC and the continued struggle to try to survive this period.
It has been extremely challenging to do all we can for the Community.

In September 2020 we were very fortunate to have been awarded a Community Grant from The National Lottery Community. The generous support gained from The National Lottery Community Fund has allowed us to overcome some of those obstacles, and deliver crucial support and build a sense of togetherness during these tough times, and we cannot thank them enough!! We also received grants from The Sussex Community Foundation and Sport England to help support us, in supporting the Community during the pandemic.

We have offered assistance with shopping, delivering prescriptions, friendly telephone chats, delivery of free hot meals (including Sunday Dinners to Senior Citizens), whilst maintaining a hub which keeps the Community connected and help combat loneliness .
We also supplied Support Parcels for those who were financially struggling as well as a Community Fridge/Freezer where people were able to pop along for essentials or or pick up nutritious homemade meals free of charge.

We offer a 'Pay it with post it' scheme where those who are struggling can pop along for a FREE hot drink.

MPCC is the heart of our local Community where people can meet, find support and a friendly face. We will continue to adapt and offer support wherever possible
If you need help please contact us, don’t be a stranger and remember - We are in this together!!!!

We also support local Charities/businesses with such things as fundraising events and much more
